Carole Valeskey’s California Dance Institute
Carole Valleskey founded the California Dance Institute (CDI) in 2001. The former Joffrey Ballet principal dancer began the program to help children in underserved neighborhoods learn life skills through dance and music. The program, which is currently in its 12th year now serves over 1400 children in eight schools throughout the Los Angeles area.
